Between Knowing and Feeling

Sometimes, the hardest part of a major decision isn't making it.
It's living with everything that becomes true after you've made it.
You can be certain that a decision is right for you and still feel sad about it.
You can know that something needs to change and still miss what you're leaving behind.
You can feel relieved and guilty at the same time.
We often expect clarity to bring emotional certainty with it. But the two don't always arrive together.
This can be especially true when a decision affects more than just you - a relationship, a family, a career, or the life you've become accustomed to.
The practical side may require decisions, conversations and plans.
The emotional side may require something entirely different: time to process what has changed, space to acknowledge conflicting feelings, and the opportunity to adjust to a reality that may look very different from what you imagined.
Being uncertain about how you feel doesn't necessarily mean you've made the wrong decision.
Sometimes, it simply means your emotions haven't caught up with your decision yet.
Have you ever made a decision you knew was right, but still needed time to emotionally catch up with it?
